Today at Nintendo's E3 Round Table a journalist asked about Pikmin and the "core" gamer. Miyamoto responded with:"We're making Pikmin".
No other information has been given, but this is the first official confirmation of a new Pikmin game. Miyamoto has hinted heavily on it before, but now it's official.

Nyko’s wireless nunchuck accessory
has attracted the ire of Nintendo, evident in a recent lawsuit (via Bloomberg).
According to Nintendo’s complaint filed June 10, Nintendo claims Nyko’s
accessory is a rip-off of Nintendo’s own design.
The Conduit is a first-person shooter being devloped exclusivily for Wii by High Voltage Software and is being published by an unkown publisher. The Conduit is schedualed for release in the first quater of 2009.
