The Xbox 360 will soon be receiving a slew of new features in an upcoming revamp to the Xbox 360. After a long time of gamers complaining about the difficulty in using the 360 dashboard’s "blade system," troubles with getting matched up with friends on LIVE and limited functionality on the system’s XMB, Microsoft is directly acting on gamers’ concerns and giving the 360 a much needed reboot.

Today Midway and Epic Games have announced that Unreal Tournament III for the Xbox 360 will be availiable on store shelves on July 7, 2008. The Xbox 360 version will include exclusive multiplayer footage of the highly anticipated sequel to Gears of War, Gears of War 2, along with added content, exclusive to the Xbox 360.

Word came out today to gamesindustry.biz of some major shakeups at Microsoft. Shane Kim will be prmoted to a newly created position, and Jeff Bell, the target of many fanboys for a forum incident at neogaf.com, will be leaving to pursue 'other opportunities.'
